This sandwich has Duke's mayo, shredded lettuce, and a house made pickled jalapeño and shallot relish. And of course, the fried chicken breast is then drizzled in a hot honey made at Cookie's Country Chicken. The hot honey is made by steeping honey with a variety of peppers for a few weeks until the honey gets a nice little kick.
In this video, the heat level for the chicken was 2 star, which gets its heat from cayenne.
The hot honey and the relish really harmonize in your mouth, the lettuce adds a cooling crunch, and the Duke's mayo does what mayo is supposed to do.
You'll have to just go visit Cookie's Country Chicken in Pioneer Square or in Ballard across the parking lot from H Mart and try one for yourself!
